Persons accessing this site agree that this site and all its contents
and designs are the property of Former Federal Law Clerks Society, all
rights reserved, Copyright 2001. Persons accessing this site agree
to do so only for bona fide searches for retention of counsel, and agree
not to copy or duplicate content off of fedlawclerks.com except for
the limited purpose of bona fide searches to retain counsel for a
matter.
By registering to be a member of the Former Federal Law Clerks Society,
Registrants certify that they served as a law clerk to a federal
judge in one or more District Courts, Circuit Courts of Appeal,
and/or the U.S. Supreme Court. Registrants further certify that
they are a licensed attorney in good standing. The Society has sole
discretion in approving Registrants to be Society members, and may
decline membership without explanation. Registrants agree not to
post defamatory, offensive, or untrue information in their fedlawclerks.com
biographical listing. The Society has the right and discretion to
edit submitted content. Registrants agree not to print, copy, or
otherwise duplicate biographical or other content of fedlawclerks.com,
except for the limited purpose of searching for counsel for specific
matters. All content on fedlawclerks.com is the exclusive property
of the Society, and the Society reserves all rights, copyright and
otherwise, to such property.
By registering
to be a member of the Society, upon approval Registrants are entitled
to a one-year membership commencing at the date of registration.
Memberships are automatically renewed at the end of each year, and
Registrants authorize the Society to charge the credit card submitted
by the Registrant upon initial registration for all future automatic
renewals. To cancel Society membership, members must email the Society
at at least 10 days prior to the end of the membership year.
The Society
makes no warranties and expressly DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, IMPLIED
BY LAW OR OTHERWISE. Because of the nature of the Internet, the
Society does not guarantee that fedlawclerks.com will experience any
particular minimum level of down-time or inaccessibility. The Society
does not publish credit-card information to any third parties other
than for purposes of charging the provided credit card for membership
fees, but the Society does not guarantee confidentiality.
Membership fees are non-refundable. The exclusive remedy for any
Registrant is to cancel their membership and ask for their biography
to be deleted. For any alleged breach of contract or act or omission
by the Society, Registrants agree that CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL,
OR OTHER DAMAGES ARE NOT RECOVERABLE. If any claim is brought by
a Registrant against the Society, pre-suit notice must be sent 30
days prior to Any claims must be brought in the Marion County Small
Claims Court, Pike Township, Indianapolis Indiana, and must be brought
within 90 days of accrual of any action.
By registering
with the Society, Registrants grant the Society the right to edit
and publish their biographical information on fedlawclerks.com and
in hard copy or other directories that the Society might publish,
and grants the Society the right to provide such biographical information
to other third parties in the Society’s discretion. All rights of
the Society are assignable.
All transactions are in U.S. dollars.
